Keeping you - whether you're a congregational leader or member, a member of the media, or someone interested in Judaism - informed about the Union for Reform Judaism and its programs and resources is the job of the Department of Marketing and Communications.
COMMUNICATING WITH CONGREGATIONS
Using all available media, we communicate regularly with congregational leaders to help them learn how to access the Union's resources more readily.
In addition to regular Communications Updates to lay and professional leaders, the Marketing and Communications Department administers the URJ Web site, responds to the "Ask the Union" queries that are sent to the Union via the Web, and coordinates several online discussion groups for temple leaders.
We also send breaking and timely news of immediate interest via broadcast fax to temple offices and via E-mail to individuals interested in receiving alerts via ReformNews. Why not subscribe to ReformNews to keep current on new and updated information about the Union for Reform Judaism.
MEDIA RELATIONS
Have a question about Reform Judaism? Want some ideas on how to report on an upcoming holiday? Interested in locating an expert on a topic from bio-ethics to worship?or anything in between? The Union's Department of Marketing and Communications is here to help.
URJ Press releases are posted in our Online Press Room and distributed by mail or e-mail. If you'd like to be added to our list, please let us know. We'd also be glad for you to subscribe to ReformNews, which will automatically send you the URL of any item added or updated on our Web site.
Two additional sites you may want to bookmark are the Communications Updates - which are how we inform congregations of new resources and programs - and the What's New? page.
We're also available to answer your phone calls and get you in touch with the right resource. Please let us know how we can serve you better.
