Keeping Our Congregations Secure

Larry Glickman, FTA
On October 7/23 Tishrei, we watched in horror as Israel experienced an unprovoked attack from the Hamas terrorist organization during what should have been the joyous holiday of Simchat Torah. Hundreds of Israelis have been killed or injured; as a Movement, we pray for the quick resolution of this tragic situation.

A New Year, A New Tent

Larry Glickman, FTA
Recognizing that expectations around technology and connection have changed through the years, we have made the decision to move The Tent to a new platform called Mighty Networks, and we think that you will enjoy the new user experience and opportunities to connect and learn together.

Traliant Compliance Training Classes Now Available

Larry Glickman, FTA
As part of our ongoing efforts to create safe, respectful, and equitable workplaces, the URJ requires all staff to regularly participate in sexual harassment prevention training classes, provided by Traliant Compliance Training. Now, through the Reform Movement Marketplace, the URJ is making Traliant Compliance Training classes available to our affiliated congregations at a reduced cost.

July 1 is a Big Day in the Reform Congregational World

Larry Glickman, FTA
The first of July is the day you can engage both new and experienced leaders on your board, help ensure they do their jobs well, and play a meaningful role in leading the congregation. With your support and guidance, your trustees can lead with wisdom informed by our shared tradition, the history of the community, and the best expertise the Reform Movement has to offer.
